Medical device indicated for the treatment of scars, localized or extensive, resulting from cutaneous lesions post dermatological or surgical intervention (closed wounds) or superficial burns of the 2nd degree (laser, radiotherapy).
Adults. Face, body, joints, mobile areas.
What types of scars? Once the wound is closed, after removal of sutures/strips if any: Post-sutures (following a fracture, road accident, domestic accident, cosmetic surgery…); 2nd degree superficial post-burn by prolonged contact with hot or cold material (water, hot oil, fire, hot plastic materials, ice cubes…); Post-cesarean section; Post-radiodermatitis; Post-thyroidectomy; Post-ear reattachment operation; Post-laser tattoo removal; Post-ablation of a mole; Post-laser hair removal that is too localized and intense in the same place; etc…
Every year, more than 100 million1 patients develop scars and there are about 4 million1 burn scars, 70% of which are in children.
In order for everyone to feel good about their scar(s), SVR is developing its second medical device following international clinical recommendations: “silicones are the 1st line treatment for the initial management of all scars and for the prevention of hypertrophic scars and keloids. “2.
The formula is therefore highly concentrated in rigorously selected silicones, and its non-greasy, non-sticky gel texture forms an invisible, semi-occlusive film for barrier protection:
– Maintains a moist environment conducive to healing
– Soothes and relieves itching immediately
– Reduces redness and tightness
– Reduces and prevents the formation of red, thick and rigid scars
– Smoothes and flattens scars
– Makes scars less visible
AN EFFECTIVENESS RECOGNIZED BY PATIENTS!
– 100%3: Smoother scars
– 100%4: Less visible scars
– 100%4: Smoother scars
– 100%5: Prevents red and puffy scars
